Pricing specialists are responsible for determining the value of financial transactions or products and recording pricing for accounting purposes.

Jobs available to pricing specialists include:

• Pricing Manager.
• Pricing Analyst.
• Valuations Controller.

Tasks carried out by pricing specialists include:

• Carrying out ad hoc pricing requests.
• Pricing new products and monitoring the products of existing instruments.
• Designing and maintaining pricing models and logs.

Qualifications

Many pricing specialists are part or fully qualified technical accountants with strong financial modelling skills.
